New Blog Site

My dear blog followers,

My blog has moved! Mommy has finally had enough of fiddling with blogger, trying to get her photos to go where she wants them, and trying to make the blog look the same published as in editing mode! She has moved my blog to Wordpress. New address is: cooperu.wordpress.com (Sorry the link doesn't work, Blogger will not allow me to add a hyperlink to another blog site... )

Please update your bookmarks!! This blog will remain up as well but there will be no new blogs posted here. Mommy is sad to leave behind my very first blog site, but excited to have some new options and see how it works out. The bad part is that comments were not able to transfer over... one of the reasons I will keep this blog up as well! The good news is that we got back my reallllly old comments from this blog that were lost when we switched over to Halo Scan over a year ago!

Anyways, enough technical blah blah blah... check out my new blog: cooperu.wordpress.com and let me know what you think. I can always switch back to this one if there is an overwhelming demand :) The new blog is still a work in progress.

SNOW

Today I learned the word SNOW. Why you ask? Because it started snowing. Hard. Around 9:30 this morning. It is STILL snowing. Hard. There is snow in the sky, snow on the ground... snow covering our Halloween pumpkins! Is this what it means to live in Ontario? Back in Vancouver I was lucky to see snow once a year! We didn't even have snow for Christmas! I've been told the snow will likely be gone as quickly as it came... but for now I'll enjoy it. Mommy dressed me up in my snowsuit and I ran around the yard! Then we went for a car ride and I squished into my seat all bundled up looking like I was straight out of "A Christmas Story". Strange to think the just last week I was outside in my t-shirt at the pumpkin patch...

Tee-tee and Co-wee!

My very favorite treat? Candy corn.

I'm not sure how it first happened that I was given a piece of candy corn. Mommy or Daddy probably felt overcome with Halloween spirit one day and decided to allow me a taste of the delicious orange and yellow candy. Ever since I have woken each morning begging for "Co-wee!" Fallen asleep each night murmuring "Cooo-weeee"....

Okay, this is a bit of an exaggeration. Sometimes I wake up calling for "I-seem". (Ice cream). Thought it is very rare that I get either of these treats.

Enter toilet training. Grandma decided to start showing me where poopies and tee tee go. (Tee tee being pee pee of course.) Mommy decided to follow suit. Now they have me dumping poopies from my diaper into the toilet and sitting on the toilet pushing as hard as I can with promises of a Co-wee for tee-tees. The last couple of days I have managed to do some tee-tees in the potty. No poopies yet, but I'm trying pretty hard. That co-wee is a great motivator.

As we speak I am savouring today's hard earned Co-wee. Unfortunately my Mommy does not yet have a good picture of me on the potty like Zach's Mommy, but rest assured I'm sure one is on the way...

Pumpkin Patch 2008

Yesterday we took our annual trip to the pumpkin patch! This year it was a new pumpkin patch since we're out East now. It was called Pingle's Farm. It was pretty cool. There was a whole area called the Fun Farm for us kids. There were pedal bike tracks, a corn maze, animals to feed, sand to play in, toys, jump castles... it was a lot of fun and I ran everywhere and made Mommy chase me all over. I went with my friends Jacob, Cain & Ella and their parents Brooke, Ryan & Chrissy. And of course Mommy and Daddy. It was really sunny and really hot and the grown ups got tired before we did. Peterborough Zoo

Today I went to the Peterborough Zoo with Mommy, Daddy, Brooke, Jacob and Ella. I was there once last year when we were visiting Grandma and Grandpa, but I was still a little too young to enjoy the animals as much as I did this year. They had a new otter exhibit this time which was really cool. It was probably my favorite part of the zoo! The train ride wasn't running this time since it's after summer now, but it was still really fun. You can see all of the pictures of us at the zoo right here. (Password - autumncoast)

CHEESE!

I have learned how to say "CHEEEEEEZE" and put on a huge smile just for the camera! Here, Daddy & I put on our best smiles at bath time! I like to pose and then look at myself on the display screen after every picture is taken :P

Today I learned how to look through the digital camera and push the button to take pictures of Mommy and Daddy! Daddy is so impressed that I'm following in his photo taking footsteps!
