BIG News!

Today I said my fifth word! And it was a big one! After my nap I led Mommy to the kitchen and pointed to the freezer. She lifted me up and I opened the door and grabbed the ice cream. "Ice cream?" Mommy said. And just as she was about to put the ice cream away and deny me my request I said... get ready... "ICE CREAM"!! I said it perfectly! In the sweetest little voice EVER! Mommy nearly fainted. She then allowed me to have ice cream for lunch because she was so happy. So far I have only said it the once and her attempts to have me repeat it have been unsuccessful. I think Mommy is just relieved to know I am actually capable of speech :P

Bedtime

Sometimes I get really excited right before bedtime and run laps of the apartment. This is to show Mommy that I should get to stay up later. Sadly, it tends to work against me as it takes a lot of energy to run laps. I am very sneaky though... when Mommy wants me to brush my teeth I hide so that she can not find me :)

Water

I love drinking water out of Mommy & Daddy's big glasses. I've gotten quite good at it. I like to make a loud, that was very refreshing, "Aaaaaaaaah" sound after each and every sip. Mommy's not sure where I got this from, but she's betting it's from watching Daddy drink Slurpee's :)

Father's Day Fun!

Today was Father's Day. We let Daddy sleep in, but only until 7:30 :)

Mommy & I made Daddy French toast with powdered sugar and strawberries on top. Mommy even bought Daddy thick, white bread instead of whole wheat! Daddy was really sleepy when I woke him up but enjoyed his french toast anyways!

I made Daddy a card, drew him a picture and framed a picture of us on pirate paper! Mommy got Daddy a DVD he wanted. I got a present too so as not to feel left out. It was a book. I like that I get presents on Father's Day!

Mommy & Daddy spent the morning reorganizing and repacking moving boxes. (Yawn.)

After my nap and lunch we went out. It was nice and sunny. Daddy got a Slurpee then we all went to the park and played. We went to Safeway for some groceries, then went to Vera's and ordered burgers and onion rings. We took them home to eat. It was the first time I'd had a hamburger and onion rings, and it was so good! I ate a big piece of Mommy's burger.

6:15am Wakeup Ritual

In the morning when I wake up (usually around 6:15am) I like to get a cup of milk and a container of raisins and Cheerio's and snuggle up on the couch to watch some cartoons on Treehouse. This morning I watched Backyardigan's.

Here I drink my milk out of my BLUE cup.

Here you can see my container of snacks nestled in my lap.

I decide to dump my snacks and use the container as a hat.

Yesterday on the way home from the park I found some really cool puddles! I got all wet right through my shoes and socks and up to my knees, but it was totally worth it!

It's BUCKETHEAD!!!

Often I turn from an ordinary boy into a super hero named Buckethead. I particularly like to wear my bucket when running around the house in circles and when drinking my milk. And sometimes when I'm just hanging out.
