Using my Spoon!

This morning Mommy let me feed myself my yogurt! I used my spoon just like a big boy. I didn't always use the right end, and the yogurt didn't always end up in my mouth, but overall it was a success! I got really excited and hammed it up for the camera like always.

Giddy Up Mommy!

Here is Mommy giving me rides on her shoulders. Don't mind my Mommy looking so pathetic and pretending her neck is breaking ... she loves it. And clearly, as you can see... I love it too.

Mmmmm Apples...

I love apples.

My obsession began at the pumpkin patch when Mommy & I shared a Gala Apple. Prior to the pumpkin patch, I had eaten applesauce, and cooked apples in my cereal, but never by taking bites right off the apple like a big boy!

Now Mommy & I share an apple every day. Usually I sit on her lap and we both take bites, but sometimes I'm sneaky and run off with the whole apple.

Splashing in the Tub

I've discovered that not only can you splash water and mess up the bathroom with your hands, but you can also do it by stomping your feet!
Every night Mommy & have a bath. Sometimes I play with my letters and boats, sometimes I pour water out of cups, sometimes I spray with the shower head, and often I splash water everywhere with my hands. Now I know how to stomp and splash with my feet too!

**WARNING**

**Babies should not stand in bath tubs. It is very slippery. Only attempt to stomp your feet when your Mommy is in the tub with you and holding you securely with both hands. If you attempt to stand without Mommy's help, she will get you in trouble.***

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today was Daddy's 28th Birthday!

Mommy took the day off work and Oma came to visit.

We all went shopping (I think Mommy & Daddy bought me some Chr
istmas presents!) and we went out to lunch. I tried to eat some crayons and made friends with everyone in the restaurant by yelling and squealing REALLY loud. It was lots of fun.

For his Birthday I got Daddy a book about Monsters and Mommy got him something for his computer.

Mommy & I baked a really cool cake with worms and spiders all over it. I helped Daddy blow out the candles. I even got to eat a little piece of
cake!

We g
ot to wear party hats like at Mommy's Birthday, and I got the eat a noisemaker. Well, technically I don't think I was allowed to eat it... but that didn't stop me. Cardboard is pretty yummy.

It was a really fun day! Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Remembrance Day

Today was Remembrance Day. Daddy took the day off work and we all went downtown to watch the Remembrance Day ceremony at the war memorial. Daddy took some pictures. There were a whole lot of people, so it was hard to see, but I did get to see some airplanes flying overhead and hear everything over the loud speakers.

Trick or Treat!

Happy Halloween! Technically last year was my first Halloween, but this year was the first year I got to go trick or treating! Halloween is Daddy's favorite holiday and we did it up right. The day started out with Daddy and I carving our pumpkins while Mommy was at work. We made two. We also cooked pumpkin seeds to snack on. This is a self shot of Daddy and I getting to work on my pumpkin.

We met Mommy when she got off the bus to do some trick or treating on Granville street. The stores along the street gave out candy from 4 - 5pm. This is Mommy and I. I'm the Little Stinker! (That is the trick or treat bag that Daddy made for me!)

This is me trick or treating! I've seen something exciting and am going for it... (I made Mommy carry my bag.)

Rear view. Little Stinker.

Here I get candy from a very scary vampire at a local sushi restaurant.

Daddy and I waiting for sushi.

After we went home and had dinner, Mommy and Daddy put on their Halloween costumes and we headed back out for a family walk. Daddy was Michael Myers. He looked really scary. I didn't let him hold me much. He even had scary music playing from him.

Here you can see my Mommy and Daddy thinking they are pretty cool on Halloween. Mommy dressed up as Alice Cooper. People crossed the street when they saw us coming.

Here I am sleeping at the end of a long Halloween day. And can you believe after all of my hard work Mommy and Daddy ate my candy after I went to bed?!

All in all it was a great day. I can't wait for next year!!!
